Role
Fan is part of ZS’s R&D excellence team. She leads the digital and decentralized clinical trials vertical within clinical development and client engagements in the North region. She collaborates with clients, using real-world data, to strengthen the value of their pipeline assets and bring digital solutions to improve clinical trial design and execution.
Expertise
Fan has experience bringing cross-functional teams together to transform business process using a data and analytics-based approach. She has worked with pharmaceutical companies on improving customer engagement with digital solutions and accelerating clinical programs with decentralized clinical trials.
Fan is a contributor to ZS’s thought leadership around decentralized clinical trials and is a ZS leadership representative for the Decentralized Trials & Research Alliance.
Prior experience
Prior to joining the R&D excellence practice, Fan worked as global client service lead for biopharma companies at ZS. Her focus was to help companies leverage data, analytics and technology to develop insight generation capabilities and improve operational excellence.
Education
Fan holds a Ph.D. in psychology and an M.S. in statistics from the University of Chicago. She earned a B.S. in psychology from Beijing University in China.
