Role
Josh is part of ZS’s pipeline, portfolio and business development practice and leads ZS’s work in life sciences pipeline and portfolio strategy across pharmaceutical companies, biotech and other ecosystem players.
Expertise
Josh focuses on helping pharmaceutical and biotech companies find opportunities for value creation through portfolio development. His passion is the intersection of science and business, helping clients develop strategies for their pipeline as well as capabilities that bridge commercial, clinical and research.
Josh has also helped clients with strategies for corporate portfolios, business development, value proposition and evidence generation. His other areas of expertise include indication prioritization and sequencing, market shaping, market access and go-to-market.
Prior experience
Josh’s past experience includes working at a digital business intelligence startup, where he covered the consumer-packaged goods sector, corporate strategy for a Fortune 500 mining company and consulting within the U.S. federal government.
Education
Josh holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business with a concentration in corporate finance. He also received a B.A. in political science from American University and completed the general course program at the London School of Economics.
