Karan Dhundia
Background and experience
Karan is the regional managing principal for ZS in India, where he leads the firm’s operations across six offices and a team of more than 10,000 professionals. He shapes the firm’s regional growth strategy, strengthens its talent and leadership agenda and deepens engagement with clients, partners and stakeholders across global markets. His focus includes further positioning India as a critical center of excellence for AI-powered innovation, technology and decision-making.
Throughout his career in healthcare and life sciences consulting, Karan has partnered with leading global organizations to address complex business challenges spanning organizational effectiveness, clinical and commercial strategy, customer engagement and enterprise transformation. His work brings together strategic vision, operational discipline and innovation to help organizations build scalable, data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities.
Karan’s leadership philosophy centers on empowering people, fostering collaboration and creating environments where innovation can thrive. He is passionate about building high-performing teams and enabling talent to deliver outcomes at the intersection of human insight, data, technology and AI.
Before assuming his current role, Karan held several senior leadership positions at ZS, including leading client services for one of the firm’s largest global life sciences relationships. In that role, he led multidisciplinary teams delivering impact across the healthcare value chain, from R&D through commercialization, while driving strategic innovation initiatives. Karan joined ZS in Pune in 2005 and later gained global experience through leadership roles in the United States.
