As a writer and consultant, Sally has helped sales organizations in numerous industries. She has co-authored a series of books on sales force management, along with many articles for business and academic journals. She is a frequent contributor to the Harvard Business Review at


Sally’s expertise focuses on helping sales organizations implement improvements in areas such as sales strategy, sales force effectiveness, sales territory design and sales compensation. 

Prior experience

Sally started her career working in business information technology. She joined ZS as employee No. 5 in 1984. 


Sally received her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
