ZS aims to create a more equitable divide by mitigating bias in hiring, fostering an inclusive environment and celebrating exceptional women in tech. We are proud to announce two ZSers, Shreenitha Ramani and Shreya Singh, have won Built In’s 2023 Moxie Award. This award honors rising women in tech for their skills, leadership and accomplishments across their work and industry at large.
Shreenitha has been with ZS for nearly nine years, working her way up from an associate to a business technology solutions manager in our Boston office. “I am constantly motivated by the challenging work,” she says. “At ZS, I get to explore new problems, new technologies and new learnings.”
Shreenitha’s Moxie award is a testament to her ability to solve complex problems, build strong relationships with clients and colleagues and encourage other women in technology to grow in their roles. During her career at ZS, she has helped countless clients across the life sciences industry manage and improve their data ecosystem and reporting.
Shreenitha prides herself on the work she does to foster growth for other women in technology. When she first joined our Boston office, she was one of a few people working in the technology space at ZS. This inspired her to create a community of women like her who could connect to share experiences, learn new skills and support each other. Now Shreenitha and her colleagues, Tarini Saraswat and Ritu Kama, lead the Women in Technology Leadership initiative for the North American region.
“We have an amazing team with a wide range of expertise,” she says with pride. “I love having people to learn from and I love sharing these learnings with clients.”
Shreya has been innovating at ZS for nearly 10 years, starting as an associate in Pune. After working with a global team and excelling on client projects, she was offered an opportunity to move across the globe and further her technology career. Now, she works as a business technology solutions manager in our New York office.
Shreya’s Moxie Award is a testament to her initiative, self-starter attitude and impact as a leader for other women in technology. To her, being a good leader means being compassionate and empathetic. “I try to connect with every member of my team personally,” Shreya says. “By investing in the people, ZS has helped develop a high functioning and successful team of innovative thinkers.”
Shreya’s positive influence reaches far beyond her team. To help foster continuous growth, Shreya is also part of the Women in Tech Leadership Core Committee. This group allows her to channel her passion toward trainings, panel discussions and other companywide events aimed at connecting and inspiring women in technology.
“This is not a job, it’s a passion,” she says. “A lot of my stories and friendships come from ZS. When you become a trusted advisor to a client, or when you become a trusted advisor to your team, you automatically find passion in your work.”
