ZS named a great place to work

ZS is proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work in the U.S. The Great Place to Work Institute is the global authority on workplace culture and employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue and increased innovation. Based on anonymous employee survey responses, 91% of U.S. ZSers rated ZS a great place to work, joining ZS’s Capability and Expertise Center in India, which has been named a Great Place to Work for four consecutive years, and also a Best Workplace for Women in India in 2019 by the Great Place to Work Institute.

“We are thrilled to be Great Place to Work-Certified in the U.S.,” says Chief Human Resources Officer Jeff Griese. “We all know that our people are what makes ZS a special place to work, and this certification is simply a reflection of that. I am proud of our firm, our ZSers and the culture that we have all built.”

Highlights from the survey results include:

  • 97% say clients would rate the service we deliver as "excellent."
  • 96% say people at ZS are willing to give extra to get the job done.
  • 95% say they are made to feel welcome when joining the company.

2020 has been a unique and challenging year for people around the world. At ZS, we stand by our values: treat people right, get it right, and do the right thing. Our commitment to these tenets has never been stronger, and we are proud of ZSers’ accomplishments despite challenging circumstances.

“Our people are what makes ZS a special place to work, and this certification is a reflection of that. I am proud of our firm, our ZSers and the culture that we have all built.”

This year we celebrated our commitment to support local communities through corporate social responsibility. ZS Cares Day 2020 was held virtually with more than 800 ZSers contributing 5,000 total hours to collectively make a difference. From this one day of focused energy, on behalf of ZS employees and their support in local fundraising initiatives, ZS donated nearly $500,000 to non-profit endeavors around the world.

Growth was another constant for us this year. With culture at the forefront of the employee experience, we successfully developed and deployed a virtual onboarding program and have onboarded nearly 2,000 new ZSers in over 25 of our global offices since March.

Maintaining our unique culture is of high importance, especially during this period where we can’t be collaborating together in-person. From recreating the beloved ZS lunchroom experience virtually, to promoting photo contests and a global appreciation mural where ZSers can connect while working remotely, to offering virtual cooking, yoga and exercises classes that bring ZSers together to engage in healthy, socially-distanced activities, we stayed committed to supporting a sense of community.

It’s truly the people that make ZS a Great Place to Work, and we look forward to what’s next!
