ZS recognized as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation

ZS has received a perfect score of 100 on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate practices related to workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. ZS proudly joins the ranks of over 560 major U.S. businesses that also earned top marks this year. Having participated in the survey or the first time, ZS is honored to be recognized for its efforts around inclusion and diversity.

The 2019 CEI evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. ZS earned a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality by fully satisfying the CEI criteria.

“This recognition is important to us because it helps reaffirm our commitment to creating a workplace environment where everyone feels welcome — something we are very passionate about at ZS,” said the firm’s managing director, Chris Wright. Wright attributes ZS’s perfect score achievement, in part, to efforts by the firm’s Pride@ZS network — an affinity group for LGBTQ ZSers and allies that promotes diversity and inclusiveness at work and beyond through education, social events and community outreach.

This acknowledgement by the HRC celebrates ZS’s ongoing commitment to truly living our core values each day.  “What I’m most proud of is that this award reflects the way we’ve been doing business and treating people for years,” said Natalie Hanson, ZS principal and Pride@ZS leader.
