We are proud to announce that two ZSers have been awarded for their exceptional leadership skills, dedication to fostering diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and unwavering commitment to advancing women’s careers in the workplace.
Where passion changes lives
Swati Gokhale, a principal overseeing the strategic alliance and investments practice area in our San Francisco office, has been honored with a Women Leaders in Technology award from Consulting Magazine. This award is a testament to her career as a scientist, her work in technology at ZS and the many ways she supports DEI in the workplace.
“Swati’s tireless work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence have not only propelled our company forward but also have strengthened our strategic alliances with industry partners,” says Mahmood Majeed, a principal in the Evanston office. “Her dedication to supporting and mentoring other women in technology has created a more inclusive and diverse workplace, which is critical for driving innovation and success in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.”
During Swati’s time at ZS, she has helped build ZS’s ecosystem of alliance partners. Under her guidance, this ecosystem has established strategic partnerships with many large technology vendors, but her pride and joy is the work she does with smaller companies to help bring new ideas and innovations to the market.
Swati is also deeply passionate about supporting and enabling women in their careers. She is a co-founder of ZS’s Women in Technology (WIT), a community dedicated to empowering women to take on new challenges within the technology space. WIT is one of several programs ZS has in place to help achieve our firm’s representation goal of 50% women and gender expansive ZSers.
“Technology is unlike most other scientific areas in that it changes really fast,” Swati says. “This community is focused on sharing knowledge amongst our over 400 women at ZS and empowering them to explore the technology frontier.”
Eva Struckmeyer, a ZS associate principal in Frankfurt, has been honored with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Luminary award, a testament to her vibrant and long-standing career at ZS.
Eva has proved instrumental in supporting our patient and consumer health practice. As a client service lead, Eva has a genuine interest in bringing the best of what ZS has to offer to her clients, leading them successfully through large transformations with a focus on patient-centric and customer-focused change initiatives.
Jeff Gold, managing partner of ZS Europe (EMEA), also lauded Eva’s knack for delivering best-in-class work to her clients. “Eva is a strong leader and leads her teams and clients by example. She is constantly bringing innovative ideas to her clients, rolls up her sleeves in projects to support her team and ensures that every investment delivers significant client impact. Her work on her primary client’s transformation strategy has also helped enable the organization to reach their long-term growth, goals and vision.”
Throughout her career, Eva has also championed numerous DEI efforts through Women@ZS, an inclusion and diversity group committed to supporting all women in building successful careers at the firm. She has worked to implement flexible work schedules, established a six-month career development program for women managers new to their role, and introduced the Having Kids at ZS initiative that provides solutions and support for parents as they make this life transition.
