Recognizing the potential of cutting-edge technologies, ZS has embarked on a strategic initiative to empower our people with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the digital future and propel our clients forward.

Understanding that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work in the realm of AI and machine learning (ML), ZS continues to invest in our own digital literacy learning programs. Most recently, we launched tailored training programs designed to build foundational knowledge of the intersection of digital and emerging technologies. These programs empower our people with the necessary skills to develop innovative solutions for our clients.


ZS strives for a connected ecosystem, leveraging the power of data, science and technology to make more intelligent healthcare decisions and deliver innovative solutions. These new learning pathways are designed to cater to the diverse backgrounds and skill levels of our team members. From foundational concepts to advanced algorithms, our training initiatives cover a broad spectrum of information. With 82% of all ZSers having participated in our most recent iteration, these initiatives enable our people to contribute meaningfully to our AI and ML endeavors. By giving all our ZSers the language and knowledge to engage in conversations around new technologies, we can make informed recommendations for digital solutions.

Through our continual advancement of our learning programs, ZS provides impact for both ZSers and our clients. “This program has greatly broadened my thinking and allowed me to actively explore ways to incorporate digital topics and innovations into client solutions,” says Manasa Xavier, decision analytics consultant in Princeton. 


Manasa has been with ZS for over four years, specializing in R&D and clinical design excellence. Her work requires a deep understanding of data analytics. Thanks to learnings from the most recent digital literacy pathway, Manasa has expanded her analytics knowledge and can now educate clients on the best utilization of AI. “I’m able to more confidently engage in fruitful discussions with clients,” Manasa explains. “Clients want to know how AI and ML can be applied to their needs. Thanks to these trainings, I can answer their questions.”


While Manasa has greatly benefited from our most recent digital literacy program, the enduring impact of ZS’s decades-long commitment to learning and development is distinctive. ZS’s rich history of ZSer upskilling has yielded tangible results in real-world applications. Building upon this legacy of innovative solutions and cutting-edge technology, we are thrilled to announce ZS has earned our first U.S. patent for Personalize.AI


Personalize.AI is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that optimizes customer recommendations to improve conversion, growth and revenue. With this solution clients can offer personalized experiences seamlessly across stores and digital channels in record time—driving double-digit incremental revenue growth.

Gopi Vikranth, principal in Seattle and Personalize.AI lead, noticed a client need for personalization amongst large customer bases. “It’s easier to personalize the customer journey when you have thousands or millions of customers,” Gopi says. “As the numbers increase, so do the channels and challenges. We wanted to create an SaaS that was sophisticated enough to track large numbers of customers across their journey.”
